Undergraduate education:
B.tech is a 4-year program with 8 semesters, Dual Degree and Integrated courses are 5-year programs with ten semesters.
Few NITs also offer 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and 4-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees.

Fee structure for NITs:
MHRD is responsible for setting down the fee structure of NITs,usually, the tuition fee is Rs. 62,500 per annum,however, it varies from institute to institute, Candidates from SC/ST categories and those coming from economically weaker sections of society can avail of fee waiver/remission, by fulfilling all the eligibility requirements, as per Government of India norms.
